Ed Hunter is a 3 CD package consisting of a double audio CD set, and the Ed Hunter game. A 20 page
colour booklet with images and instructions from the PC game is also included in the package.The game is a 'shoot 'em up', similar to games such as the Time Crisis series and Virtual Cop. Use
trick shots to survive, pick up many hidden bonuses and as you progress be rewarded with animations. In the game you are taken through many levels, each reflecting a theme from their artwork.
Starting with with Eddie you start in the streets of East End London (Iron Maiden & Killers). Then you must then release Eddie from an Asylum (Piece of Mind)
and race him through Hell (The Number of the Beast), a graveyard (Live After Death), Egypt (Powerslave), the Future (Somewhere in Time), and finally to a post-apocalyptic landscape (Virtual XI).
The 2 Audio CDs feature the soundtrack to Ed Hunter as
voted for by Maiden fans on their Website, and includes tracks from many Maiden albums. The set is priced at around £25..
